Using Rev.com to Overcome Writer's Block

If you've ever hit a wall when it comes to thinking about topics to write about, keep reading this. Over the past 5 years, there have been many times when I wanted to create content for Market Loyal but just couldn't really put anything together. I would then go to Google Keyword Planner, Google Trends or SEMrush.com to find topics in and around areas that may be "hot".

Enter Rev.com. What is Rev? They're a venture backed, California based transcription, caption, subtitle & translation service with a huge network of WAHMs (work from home moms). Basically, they help you get what's in your head or what's spoken aloud in certain languages....into electronic format so you can do what you want with it.

I came across Rev months ago when I was riding in the car and had a really good thought about a topic I wanted to blog about. Getting out my laptop or typing away on my iPhone would have been very cumbersome. Luckily enough, the Rev app is user friendly and loads very fast. All you do is talk into the app or upload a recording (see GIF) of whatever it is you want transcribed and in less than 24 hours you'll receive a Word Doc with it nicely laid out for you.

I'm actually using Rev right now to create this post :-)

My Top 3 Reasons I Like Rev.com

1: Easy to Use. The upload process and app are very user friendly.

2: Pricing is the Best I've found out there.

3: They have very fast turn-around time.

Bonus: If you're a marketing agency, it's a very easy way to create content for your client too. See an FAQ sesh I recorded within minutes here

There are many tools out there that you can use to get topic ideas to write about but sometimes the best times are when you don't expect it and or when they are FRESH on your mind. Using a tool like Rev definitely helps bring these thoughts to fruition must faster.
