A Mulligan With Arnold Palmer

Arnold Palmer (1929-2016)

On Sunday September 25, 2016 Arnold Palmer left this earth but he will forever be remembered and his legacy and all the great things he did will continue on just how he planned it. I had the luxury of being friends with a few that were close to Mr. Palmer and saw the many great things that Mr. Palmer and his foundation has done. I was able to see up close the true impact he had not only on the game of golf, but the many causes he started or supported over the years.

See all those great causes here .

Whether it is investing in children, youth, health, community and the environment Arnold Palmer made quite an impact. In fact, my daughter was born in 2010 in Orlando at Winnie Palmer Hospital named after Arnold's wife Winnie.

My Personal Encounter With The King

It is not every day that you get a chance to meet a true icon of sport, especially someone that is and will forever be known as "The King" of golf. That special introduction was made courtesy of Mulligan Mr. Palmers long time beloved Labrador.

Here is my story

 A Special Thank You

My family and I are deeply moved by the outpouring of support and love that we have received from the countless friends and admirers of my father. These first hours have been challenging but we are comforted knowing that he was loved by so many and so deeply. Words can not begin to express the gratitude we have for the many people who have offered to help us in this time of sadness.  My father would be so pleased to know that he is being thought of and recognized this way.

Over the next couple days, we will be finalizing arrangements for his services and until then, we all appreciate the kindness everyone has shown us.  On behalf of my father and family, thank you for your thoughts and prayers.
